GFSI CERTIFICATION
Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) certification services align your organization with multiple food safety standards to ensure compliance.
- Wherever you are in the food value chain, we can independently audit your food safety systems and get them certified against the requirements of any of the GFSI standards. This helps you and your supplier network to adopt the highest standards in food safety and comply with customer requirements. In addition, a valid certificate against a GFSI-recognized standard – granted by GIC International – enhances your access to global markets.
GFSI Benchmarked Schemes:
- FSSC 22000
- BRCGS
- IFS
- SQF
What is BRCGS Certification?
-
The British Retail Consortium (BRCGS) is a trade association for the UK food retail industry created in 1992. The BRCGS has published standards for best practices for the food and manufacturing industries for two decades and also publishes the On-Pack recycling standards for the UK. The BRCGS Global Food standard has been in existence since 1998, and in 2000 was the first food safety standard to be recognized by the GFSI organization, which means the standard meets their “benchmark” criteria for acceptance. The standard is designed as a “total quality management” program and includes both food safety requirements and quality requirements that food manufacturers must meet in order to be certified.
IFS FOOD CERTIFICATION
-
IFS certification can improve your operational efficiency and product quality – saving you money and reducing your liability risks.
Our IFS audits – and other food safety audits – help to keep food products, and therefore consumers, safe. We apply the IFS Food standard when auditing retailer- and wholesaler-branded food product suppliers (i.e. food processing companies or those that pack loose food products). We can deliver our accredited auditing and certification services to you, wherever you are based, thanks to our global network and expertise.
